Indexing Rates -

Indexing rates are negotiable and can consist of an hourly rate or be based on a rate per indexable page*. Rates will vary depending on the following factors:

-          Page size                     

-          Density and complexity of text

-          Number and type of indexes required (for example, subject, name, title)

-          Subject matter             

-          Amount of time available to complete the index

* Rates range from €3.00 upwards per indexable page of text, or from €20.00 per hour. A quotation will be provided on submission of a representative sample of text from the body of the document to be indexed

Re-work fees -

Up to a half day is allowed free of charge for post index delivery adjustments. Should further reworking of the index be required (possibly due to late changes to the text), an hourly rate will apply.

Cancellations-

Cancellation by the Client after the start of the project will result in charges due for work completed.

Editing and Proofreading Rates –  

-          Proofreading (Basic – Advanced) - €3.00 - €5.00 per page

-          Copy Editing - €5.00 - €7.50 per page        

-          Full Editing - €10.00 per page

Alternatively, quotes can be provided by the word, by the hour, or by the project.
